The Indigenous PEI Store is a retail and experience destination with two locations in Charlottetown: a year-round storefront at 111B Grafton Street and a seasonal presence at the Charlottetown Seaport Vendor Market.
Operated by the Indigenous Tourism Association of Prince Edward Island, the store showcases a curated collection of authentic Indigenous products created by artisans from Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island).
Every item sold reflects the cultural knowledge, creativity, and lived experiences of Indigenous makers and storytellers. Visitors are encouraged to explore the space, speak with staff about the stories behind the products, and—on select days—experience artisan demonstrations and special events that highlight Indigenous culture.
In addition to its retail operations, the store plays a key role in supporting Indigenous tourism by helping artisans develop and deliver market-ready workshops, products, and cultural experiences.
