She:kon! My name is Hawklene Lawton, and I am a proud Mohawk and Ojibway entrepreneur from Ontario. I founded Simply Indigenous in June 2021 with a simple yet powerful mission—to support and uplift Indigenous businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs across Canada.

Growing up, I saw firsthand the incredible talent and resilience within our communities, yet I also noticed the challenges Indigenous businesses faced in reaching broader markets. I wanted to create a space where Indigenous products could shine, where people could shop with confidence knowing every purchase directly supports our people and our cultures.
